Apple Macintosh OS 10.5 (Leopard) -- Multiple Files Instructions

  1. Create a folder on the machine the files are being downloaded to -- name it whatever you like (in this example, we named the folder "Leopard")

  2. Using your web browser, download all 4 of the following files from iSDP to this folder

    OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Disk 1

    OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Disk 2

    OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Disk 3

    OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Disk 4

  3. Launch Terminal from /Applications/Utilities

  4. Type in: cd ~/Desktop/Leopard/

  5. Type in: cat leopard_part_* > leopard.dmg

  6. This will take some time to complete

  7. The resulting leopard.dmg file can now be used to make a bootable dual-layer DVD of Mac OS 10.5

  8. The "leopart_part" files can now be deleted
