Product Overview

MetaFrame XPe Presentation Server is available under the current agreement with Citrix. Citrix is client-side licensed; there are no fees for the server software.

Product Description

Citrix MetaFrame application server software helps organizations deliver a virtual workplace to users everywhere - on any device or network connection - by providing secure, reliable, cost-effective access to the same applications and information available at the office.

HHS currently uses Citrix products consisting of MetaFrameŽ 1.8, Citrix MetaFrame XPa, XPs, and XPe. This agreement provides new licenses and upgrades for MetaFrame XPe Presentation Server. Citrix MetaFrame XPe Presentation Server offers to HHS a tailored solution which includes Subscription Advantage and Citrix Consulting Services.

Citrix MetaFrame XPe Presentation Server leverages the entire Net and extends Windows 2000 servers as well as next-generation operating systems. Citrix MetaFrame XPe Presentation Server offers robust management capabilities specifically designed for large organizations like single-point control of servers, licenses and resources, application packaging and advanced system monitoring.

Subscription Advantage provides a convenient way to budget for Citrix upgrades annually. In addition, it provides priority access to important Citrix technology information and customer service news.

Citrix Consulting Services (CCS) provides professional services specializing in Citrix technologies.

Agreement

This agreement is available to all of HHS. Current licenses can be enrolled and moved to E-licensing from a shrink-wrap model. The contract provides a single coterminous date and allows users to enroll and deploy Citrix solutions when needed.
